I'll be flying to Chicago tomorrow morning. I am frightened to say the least. The recent record lows (high of -9) are disconcerting to say the least especially for a girl who gets the chills when temperatures hit the 40's. Lucky for me, the windy city has been warming up a bit - today the high was 22. I'll be sure to write an update as soon as my fingers have thawed.
I'll be on the lookout for flocks of geese!

Good luck! Try to avoid any and all contact with the outside air. It is supposed to be 70 here today. But dont worry, we will suffer tomorrow in the mid 60's.
Good luck! Just remember, it isn't the cold that you need to be concerned about, it is the icey wind that will slice you open if it touches any part of your bare skin... March was miserable there, so I'll be praying for your warmth and safety in frigid January!!! :)
Just think... one month until NYC... one month until NYC...
